The Original Hard Drive

Hello, I'm going to tell you something more about the harddrive.

A hard drive is a data storage device used for storing and retrieving digital information using rapidly rotating disks (platters) coated with magnetic material. 

The harddrive is different from other permanent memories in three different ways: Bigger storage, faster and durability.

You can connect a hard drive with these connection gates:

- SCSI

- SATA (Serial advanced technology attachment)

- SAS(Sereial attached SCSI)

You can connect external hard drives with these connection gates:

- USB

- Firewire-Gate

- eSATA

- NAS

Your hard drive's speed depends on these factors:

- The rotation speed

- The acces time

- The latency time

- The data acces time
